Had an interesting thought today:
Should we have a minimum required maneuvers list?
what do you all think?
You could have a required maneuver. Very specific maneuver and awards points on how well it was flown.
Caller would have to signal to the judges when the maneuver starts and ends.

But a minimum set, nah. To difficult to judge well. Especially if the maneuver isn't flown well it might be hard to judge
when they started and finished each one.

The person who strings together his\her best maneuvers to music and performs them well will win.
Plus not everyone is proficient with all the maneuvers. So they might nail 4 of the five but suck on the 5th one.
Probably best to let each competitor display what he's\she's good at. Heck even sometimes a 0 of 8 is interesting.

whatever you do, I would request that you solidify the rules and requirements ASAP....as most of us have already began working on a routine.

Continue your progress. We'll leave it as open flying, best routine wins. Sorry if my question added confusion.

What about doing something like Jim said pick one maneuver but that maneuver is a bonus. For example score is 0-100 and the bonus maneuver is up to an extra 10 points depending on how it's executed, that way it's not mandatory but awarded for doing it
