Spektrum is really susceptible to brownouts. What voltage are you running the output at? Make sure it's 6v

yea its 6v. I seriously think it was the receiver. after I switched it was no problems. on the dx8 forum at rcgroups I was reading to have some holds and A's is no biggy. that receiver has been in a couple of crashes so that may be the problem. gonna send it in, need to send in some servos anyways. I was running a scorpion backup guard on that, it coulda messed up the rx too, eventho its not supposed to be a problem with an Align esc. I do have a Talon 90 on the way to run in the Slick. I like the Align its pretty smooth but I like the programming options that the Castle Esc's have.

I'm up on the mountain where fire danger is super high... there won't be any fireworks around here tonight but at least the temps are a little cooler (95 instead of 112).

This ol bird has been issued a death warrant; two artillery shells inside the fuse, duct taped together facing toward each other (so they don't shoot through the fuse when the go off). Just gotta devise a 6v igniter so I can trigger detonation from my radio. Should be cool to watch, I'll get it on video.
