Played hooky from work today and headed out to the flying field. Light winds, blue skies and beautiful outside. Mowed the grass areas and flew. My decathlon muffler came loose AGAIN and the motor died at the absolute worse place it could (end of runway). Low, slow and no hope of getting back to the runway so I kept it straight and rode it into the tall grass. Ripped the gear out. Fixable. But this muffler is beginning to piss me off.

Solution! Wife suggested I try a different motor. Why didn't I think of that? Wonder if I can shoe horn a twin in this thing?

Yes I've seen a valley view RC 40 twin on one..... Wool book that may be a good turn for you!

Looks perfect for this plane. Cowl is 9" wide. They are out of stock but I have my name on the waiting list.

Boy I hate auto correct!!! Sure made me look like a fool on the last post lol.... I have heard very good things about that engine and you won't have those kind of problems with it.
