I seriously thought about ordering a 20cc profile from Redwing today. I think it would be a blast to play with.

The one I got from Valley View RC is a blast to fly, incredible pop tops and the blenders are insane lol

Does VVRC have any package deals? I would like to use their compact 21cc motor.
Edit - Yes they have package deals. But the only 20cc profile I see is a YAK. Would prefer an Edge or Extra.

Yes you can do the combo deal as I did, and that engine is great!! If you do the combo deal they also throw in a free muffler with it to work with the profile mounting.

Plus the fuel tank comes with it and fits inside the fuse

Thanks Bipe. Still leaning towards the Redwing Edge. I e-mailed Tim to see if this is the new one with the CF fuse tubes. (I am pretty sure it is)

no problem at all...... mine has the CF wing tube and CF outer tube in the fuse if that is what you mean

Lol.... I still have them, Sportster biplane, Ultimate biplane, Starduster biplane, and a Steerman, I havent flown those in over a year....... I also have a couple of electric biplanes........ those get flown once in a while...... Im having more fun with the 3D stuff..... I am saving for a 100cc Aeroworks Ultimate but that is gonna be a while.... I do have a DLE 111 waiting for it though.....

I am an Aeroworks nut.... The 100cc ultimate is one I have always wanted. Best looking scheme imo. Maybe ill get one someday

I think it is one of the best built Biplanes as far as 100cc goes.... Not so sure about the 50cc unless they fixed the wing problems....

I bit the bullet. Ordered the yellow 20cc profile Edge 540 from Redwing. Discount code help make that an easier decision to make. This will be the plane that rides with me everywhere so I always have something to fly. My bigger planes require the trailer. Right now I have a .40 size bird that just sits in the backseat of my truck and is the plane I use to wake up the thumbs and try new stuff. I won it at a club raffle. Poor thing has been flown to death and needs to be recovered and reconditioned. Although, I do plan to fly it again tomorrow and Sunday. :thumbup:

I wasnt aware of any wing problems but never kept up with anything on the ultimate 50cc. I had a pitts python and loved it. Had a DA 50 in it and it struggled to pull out of a hover so i put in a da60 and it flew much better
