If mom or anyone else comes looking for me, I'm not here. Woke up to simply maaavelous weathea' dahlings....Me and the Baby Yak-ster are gone flyin'! Well just as soon as a top off charge is done. And no, I ain't gonna sit 'round watchin'! Lol

Well boys make the best of it because it is 14 below zero windy and snowing around me. Man just a hard day’s drive maybe a little more people are flying in short sleeves.

No -14 degree weather here. In fact, a little nicer than expected. Hey, who is complaining? LOL. 48 degrees when I arrived at the field. Virtually no wind to speak of, maybe 3mph gusts and beautiful blue skies. Oh my....Oh, Oh my!!!

My son (Shayne Epley) and I both had the same "Yak Attack" today. I even had a little helper today too.


There is only one thing to do when that happens. A little "Yak-ceon" in the making.

The "canned" BE 62 performed flawlessly and just as equally reliably. You get a feel of such things when your plane is "bumping" the rudder on the pavement less than a couple of feet away from you. With the Beautiful Sun at our backs in the Southern sky, we enjoyed some really nice flying weather today.

Someone has had too much fresh air. LOL. I think he just might be ready for a nappy nap. (Daddy too)

We got four really great fun filled exciting and downright evil goodness flights in today. I just hated to pack up and head for home. Ah, but tomorrow is supposed to be almost as nice. I am feeling a little "edgy" from all the flying today. I think there is a remedy at home for this condition. Guess I will just have to put the 106cs powered Pilot Edge on the charger and have a repeat performance tomorrow. Yes....!!
The trip home was late afternoon and the sun was starting to head to the Western skies to take a nap of its own. Still, at 50 degrees it was by far a stellar day.


Really looking forward to tomorrow.

Had another hard freeze and it's going to last all through most of next week . My heater has not run this long in over 10 years down here . What the is going on??? Very happy you got to taste what it's supposed to be like down here but really???
You went and put the hex on me didn't ya brother? Got you one them little fat dolls and called it Kelly and his 3 little flying buds (cuz we fly little junk compared to yours). Then you went and stuck it in your deep freeze didn't ya! ...............Talk about evil...Sheesh.

What did you 'spect? I mean first ya take's my Marvin the Martian watchin' cereal bowl, then yas take my purple 3 speed banana seat bike an' ya trade it for a gasserized two wheel thingy. Oh but that was not enough for you. Oh no.... some brother of a different mother you are. What I should have done was dig out my !!!

The weather forecast for today was pretty much right on track. A little chillier and a little more Breezy, but what the heck it should still be fun. Besides, it's not often during this time of the year that we can fly two days in a row. So we are taking advantage while we can. Along with that my son insisted on a 100cc day. So it is off to the field for us. His Pilot RC 330 extra and my Pilot RC Edge 540.

It's a Red Head day for me.
