Very cool. My house lines up with the runway of our local airport which is about 1 mile away. We get to see all kinds of cool planes up close on a daily basis. We love it.Weather was really nice today but just could not make it out to the strip. Was again consoled by the T-6 and a P-51 flying in formation and doing touch and goes at the local airport. End of the runway is only about a mile away from my property.

Once I get the redo done I won't forget as it will set on it's own dolly assembled ready to go, no disassembly.Really need the “Don’t like” button. That’s twice in two days.
Only reason I haven’t forgotten my struts is because they fit in the wing bags, along with the wing tubes!
Hardware stays in the plane in a special container which is held in by Velcro.
At least I can get all the parts of the plane to the field. Just don’t ask what else I’ve left behind.
You must have a pretty big trailer to do that, or if you stand it straight up in a trailer. Still pretty tall.Once I get the redo done I won't forget as it will set on it's own dolly assembled ready to go, no disassembly.
It would sit like the Eagle does, at a 45° angle. But who knows for sure. I could order a set of the Pilotrc wing bags for their Pitts and put everything in the bag, be kind of hard to forget the bag. Actually, I think I'll go and order them now as it would be more space disassembled. Thanks for making me think about this guys!!!You must have a pretty big trailer to do that, or if you stand it straight up in a trailer. Still pretty tall.

I am David. In years past I have also seen a B-17 with a P-38 escort. All these WWII birds are absolutely AWESOME to see and hear in action. Oh! I also saw a cold war era Mig 15 fly over this past summer. You're a lucky man, Kelly. . . . . . .

It was a pretty frosty 75 degrees this weekend here in SoCal. I almost had to put on a sweater to fly
