How was the power? Ha! Is that really the question? LOL!!!! There was ample power. Next time out I will get a video even if I have to get one of the 80+ ole timers to do it. I left the house today to fly it again but did not get far before I realized it was windy as hell, so I turned around. Tomorrow might be an ok day time wise but Thursday is wide open and the wife said she could make it then as well.
It is kind of hard right now to know anything for sure with anything. As most of you probably read on the other thread about the in-law, well Friday night she had a major stroke. So we are having to deal with all that comes with that, not as much for me as there is for the wife but we still can not set something in stone so it is day by day.

There is nothing you can do about it just work your way through it give your wife all the support she needs. Been through it and it is a thing we all have work our way through as our parents get older.

Got the modified UltraSport up yesterday for five flights. Boy was it fun and enjoyable to fly one of my old planes that was scratch built in 1985. It had not been flowen in a long long time. But boy was it fast one of the blow hard guys with a big 40% plane at the field said it was slow and only looked fast because it was small. Well the out come after some debate he got smoked in every way possible upwind down wind you name it. One. I must say a painted plane is nice it looks as good as the day you built. Easy to clean and no wrinkles at all and no edges lifting I must I prefer painted planes any time. Plastic coat is easy and you can do it at anytime in the house and it is quick and light but if it was not for 3D where weight is so important I would always paint my planes.

Weather is perfect for a bit of Pilot RC 330 action. My son and I will be testing our new MZ 32 Graupner radios in the 330's. Ugh, scary feeling. Will keep you all posted.

I would, but the we had 4" of rain yesterday, so I'm sure the field is a swamp, and it's overcast and windy today, so I have a date in the basement with Miss Moana.

I wouldn't call that a bad trade-off then. A quiet darkened basement sets the perfect mood to spend time with one of your favorite gals!

You did not even gives an update on the programming. How difficult was it did you need to do a lot of reading did they have completely different thoughts and or words on how it works, we need to know details. Looking for a new radio need to know the details.
Anyway how did it go and how nervous were you. The big question is it up for sale or is it a keeper . Let’s us know how it went.
