I haven't been flying for a while...between the crappy weather and work there just hasn't been time. I think this year I will make time especially while I'm in Little Rock to go fly in the middle of the week instead of just weekends....got club members who are retired that would love to meet me at the field...that's if they aren't scheduled to play golf....

wow that is a haul! stop by and pick me upI would love a 25 hour drive. If that's what I had I would go straight threw. I have 4 days 12-13 hours and a half day. We leave on Sunday May 3rd to get there by Thursday if we don't have any problems. Then I have to turn around and do it going home. It's a three week event for me and almost $3k in gas. But I love doing it every year

This could be true.... If he's going to use 5645's then I'd use something like a Castle BEC pro and adjust the voltage to 7.5v. Saves weight still.

It's funny but I actually kind of like the drive. Seeing the country is nice and it's almost therapeutic getting to unwind on the drive. I take the southern rout on 20. Can't wait to catch up with everyone again.

It is therapeutic.. my wife and I have taken long motorcycle rides across country and you come to realize just how vast this nation we live in is and it's magnificent beauty. I've never been to Nall and it doesn't look like I will be able to make it this year either but next year may be a different story.

Yep, I try to fly in the middle of the week with the retired guys as well. Jack who lives in Maumelle is one of those retired guys that I enjoy flying with.
