Hey Rob,

Just keep doing what your doing and EVERYTHING will be good. :way_to_go: As long as you take your planes home in the same number of pieces as when you bring them to the field in, then it's a good day.

Hey @ChickenBalls & @combat chicken, where is Sandhill NC? How far is it from Elizabeth City? The reason I ask is that sometimes I like to visit r/c flying fields in the not to distant areas. A couple of weeks ago, I was invited down to a place in Hertford NC by a couple of friends that fly out of Elizabeth City. It was funny because as it turned out it was this person's home (farm). I was beginning to wonder if I was at the right place driving down the driveway until I turned into a parking place and I see this fellow pull a 40% CARF Extra out of one of his out buildings. . . . .. Anyway, I had a blast all day and I never touched a transmitter.

@David Cokley we are near Pinehurst, NC, we actually fly in Cameron, NC, but most people are familiar with Pinehurst, and the golfing. Come out and visit anytime, we are having a small get together next weekend( Oct. 10=11th ), nothing fancy, probably 10-12 guys. Load up and come join us. http://www.sandhillsmodelaircraftclub.com/

Dave. We are about 2 hours southwest of Elisabeth city or an hour south of Raleigh. You are welcome any time. Give us a heads up and we will roll out the welcome mat.
Now that's what I call Southern hospitality. :way_to_go:
Then again, never met a single "true to the bone" enthusiast that didn't welcome a fellow hobbist with open arms.

Glad you finally got your AC unit. Mom has told me a many of story of living in L.A. in the summer during the 20's and 30's with no AC. She said she didn't know how people lived back then other than life was a little slower and folks simply stopped working after 12 each day and headed to the local "swimmin hole" or found a cool shade tree to sit under all afternoon.;)
I have no doubt people were just tougher back then. My father will be 92 next month. When he was young he worked at a local brewery hand shoveling grain out of boxcars in the Midwest heat and humidity. He says on the really hot days people would drop like flies. Now days people whine if the company they work for doesn't have a Cappuccino machine.

I'm old enough to remember not having AC at home. I also remember not getting a wink of sleep on the really hot and humid nights. I can only imagine how bad that would be in Louisiana.
