I went out yesterday and hooked my tractor to my generator and pulled some other things together in case our power went out. It was windy and around 27 which was definitely chilly for my bones.

Would not have been so bad if the wind was not constantly blowing snow all over my face while I was trying to work. No sooner than I would get off the tractor seat and go to get back on the seat was covered again. It did not take long to get mostly soaked.

Got to go out today, got to the field around 10:30 and it was overcast and a little cold, low 50's or so (Hey that's cold for here) but by about 3pm we were in t-shirts! Really got lucky with the weather today, big old puffy clouds in the skies, my favorite.

Damn I'm hungry

I arrived at my "secret" strip at 8:30 am and it was 34 degrees. But sunshine every where and no wind to speak of. By the time everyone got there (9:30-10:00) my coat was off and I was in a t-shirt too! I think we hit a high of 55 but it felt like 65.
Could not have asked for a better day of weather. Engines and props and planes loved it too!
