I'm happy with the performance of my 170 with stock mufflers but it wouldn't be hard to put a set of cans on it if it makes that big of a difference.... I may just give that a try... Thanks

Mike, Dave's stuff makes a VERY noticeable difference on any engine. I'm hooked on em cans or pipes. I even run his cans on my YS 175.

I noticed Limitless Aero is selling GP engines along with MVVS engines now...that 176 evo looked and sounded awesome...don't know why someone would spend the difference for the European engine when that GP engine performs like that.....

Personally, I love my 3w. But it seems to be a different kind of power. I am no guru by no stretch of the 'magination. I do like this GP. I would buy another any day of the week.

All I can say Rob is that video you posted makes me think of the old adage "seeing is believing"... that GP evo sounded like it had more than enough power to get the job done...

I really don't know why Fergus has not popped up in here....Maybe he is stuck in that hell hole.

I think his new releases are going to open even more eyes.

Me too... He started the thread over on FG back when they first engineered GP engines... even then his response sometimes to questions posed on his thread were sporadic but you got to remember what part of the world he lives in compared to us...

@Spats has a rocketship of a 40% Pilot Yak 54 with a GP 176 EVO and proflo pipes.

Rob My Man! That Baby sounds awesome. I would take it a little easy on the super rips until you get a tad more prop on her.
I use that prop for slow 3D flying. A Mejlik or Falcon 31X12 will mellow it a bit if you desire.

My thoughts exactly. I tried to stay out of it but it don't take much to break that prop loose. The motor is a beast. I have new Falcon 32x11. About the same difference as the 31x12? What do you think Dave?
