Had an awesome Judging School for IMAC take place in PHX area this past weekend. I have been flying IMAC for over 10 years now and attended several judging schools. It is amazing you learn something new at each judging school you attend. Southwest region did a great job putting it on.
Schools are cool but it does not take a Judge to see that I suck. Had fun with the 104 today knocking the rust off but boy I can't remember ever getting the "shakes" so bad. Maybe it's the medicine. Yea. I will blame it on the medicine.
I did get the DA120 to start on just 1 flip though!
Just got home and the weather man was (for once) wrong in our favor!!!!!!!!!!! We got some crazy huckin done!! Managed to get three gallons burned up and maidened my my new engine in my Extreme Flight Edge with Terryscustom wings and a DLE85. Only live once
OK, I'm pretty "non fanboy" when it comes to engines. I'll give them all a try, and I like my DA and DLE's both......run several of each in almost every size available.
BUT, there is just something about the DA120 that is just plain addictive!!!! @Robbins and I got a little last call flight in and had a little fun with the 120's
(vid just uploaded so give it a minute if it does not play).
We gave @thelaw a run for her money keeping up with both of us.
I bought this for a beater-upper for the year and so far I'm having fun with it. Everyone needs a beater-upper because the harder you fly them the better they are
