I'd love to own a varmint rifle made by Cooper, but the price always scares me. They are some seriously nice guns.

I beg to differ on the big revolvers. Shot this with a 454 Casull(Raging Judge) and a 45-70 (magnum research BFR 45-70). The low shot on the left was a trigger yank on my part. The two to the middle left were part of 5 one handed shots with the BFR 45-70.

I said the AVERAGE shooter cant consistently pull the trigger in rapid succession with a revolver ha ha ha. Good shooting man. I'm sticking with my lil 10mm glock for now. I was fly fishing for dolly varden yesterday by myself and heard a "Crack" about 15odegrees behind me about 40 feet away was a black bear! I was quick to pull the gun up and keep my distance, turns out it she had a cub with her too... I made some noise and the cub shuffled up a tree, and mama just stared at me (blocking my trail exit!) I went down stream as she watched me disapear into the woods back down the trail. I think I was in their fishing hole! I would have gone home with wet trousers if she was closer or if it was a brownie. I also have to recommend the sherpa holster, didn't stick, and was safe to be walking around in the woods with a loaded firearm.

I just have an old Marlin model 60. If you want semi auto from what I have read you can't go wrong with a ruger 10-22 and they may ever accessory you can think of for it.

A Marlin 60 is a semi auto, but the 10-22 is an excellent rifle as well.
