Holy smokes that sucks. So glad nobody got hurt. Huge props to Mike for stepping up and taking full responsibility. I know a lot of R/C pilots that could learn a thing or two from his example. You guys hear that DRACO did a ground loop on a crosswind takeoff? Wings busted, gear folded, and props ground off. Everyone was okay. Mike had his wife (who broke a nail in the process ha ha), and a friend on board. I am glad to hear how humble we was about the whole incident and used his pilot error to educate people on his recent video about what happened and how he could have prevented it. What a cool dude, just gained a lot more respect for the guy. Truly an innovator and genuine person.

I'd buy him a beer no doubt, he has my respect!
Wussy!! Throw on some skis and hit the powder.....Well boys looks like my flying season is over. It is getting cold the temperature has been around 32 Fahrenheit for last 5 days, and snow is predicted for next couple of days. So it is time to cleanup the last couple of planes for the winter. My flying season is over.
You are correct in about month I will need to get my winter plane ready to fly. The only thing is last winter all ready but we never got the opportunity to do some winter flying. Not enough snow and it was really cold but very windy all winter. Winter flying is great but all the conditions need to be right which does not happen often. Cold, clear, very little to no windWussy!! Throw on some skis and hit the powder.....
