I'm becoming a bigger fan of yellow as well. I got to maiden this Composite ARF Extra 330SC for a friend Sunday and I really liked the Yellow, plus its a beautiful scheme. I had to cut the flight short because it melted both header couplers in half after a few minutes.

The theory we're working with is junk couplers. He complained that they were thinner than normal and not the normal white color. He's installed new ones and it's ready to go for Sunday so I guess we'll find out.

Was able to obtain the canopy base plywood! It is a perfect fit.

SO far so good. Soon, the hatch and canopy will be done.

I wonder if offering an ARF of the MEL edition gave Tony some ideas of ways to improve his kits?

Not that they're bad to build but some of this new stuff is pretty cool.
