IMAC The new Dalton 300 SP / 330

Just fixed it Stacey. Wing tube has been sanded down! phew! lots of work to do that. I also added a small lip on the bottom of the cowl opening (in front of it), to help extra the hot air out. And I also made the baffle plate gap much smaller, like 1/8" or smaller.
@sparkx38 , you gonna be there in the morning?

What time? I will have to go swap airplanes the morning but that's not a big deal. Let me know. This assuming no one catches me in the morning with something I can't get out of or put off till after flying.

Thanks Stacey for helping me again today @sparkx38 .

Today's flight report:

Airplane flies very well.

Probably best I have ever flown!
Well, that little issue I was having, where if I cut power down all the way, the nose pitched down, was all due to the down line mix.
this airplane does not need a down line mix.

Once I removed the down line mix, now it is awesome!!

Lessons learned.

She now has 6 flights. Time to burn gas and break that motor in!

Some telemetry data:
40 to 1 redline, 93 octane gasoline, no ethanol.
Mejzlik 30 x 13 EVO L 2 blade propeller
RPM max in the air is 7250

cylinder head temp max during flight:
Left front = 301 F
right front = 290 F
Left rear = 270 F
Right rear = 260 F

gasoline consumption = 1200 mL in 11 minutes.

I have a 1700 mL tank, and flew the sequence 2 times, and once landed and checked fuel level, the one liter tank had over 600 mL of gasoline in reserve.

Later on, I will report on the MaH consumption of the 9 MKS 777 servos.

I sure will. I like to make the 1st few flights without them to make sure no mishaps during landing. But they will go on soon, now that I know she lands pretty easily.

Great looking plane Cam! Just noticed the landing gear is squatting pretty good. May want to look at something with a little more strength :) I know we all like the greased landings but, not all fields we fly from are nice and smooth :)
