I think we all have to many, in the last few seasons I struggle to fly five planes, keep then maintained and ready to fly for the hole season.
Like you I struggle to constantly fly five planes much less the six I have. I have two 35%ers, the 88" Edge, and three profiles. My normal policy is that I never get another plane unless I get rid of one.

I built a profile this winter so one will have to go this year to keep me at five. Having a plane in a box does not bother me nearly as bad as having one in a flying state and simply cannot devote any time to flying it. To me that is a waste and really not doing anything. I usually find someone in the club that doesn't have much and give it to them or sell it to them super cheap just so they feel like they paid something for it.

I do get around to flying all my planes each year, but really a small number get the most flights and some may wind up with only 3-6 flights on them. It all depends on how the flying season goes and what I am focused on whether it be the big birds or learning stuff on the profiles.

This year it in my area has been horrid weather for flying, so my planes are simply in the trailer waiting. The weather folks are calling for a weekend of rain and storms here again and being a weekend RC warrior that puts me out for now.

You and me seem to have the same flying life stile. Five flying planes and some get flown a lot and the other two not so much. I have few more than you but have six planes ready to go, and the rest are built but no electric’s or motor. Just like the 330L I have just about finished the building is done except the motor and cowl needs to be done and then covered. My problem is really do like to build and I love playing with engines and I cannot resist buying a nice engine.

After getting all caught up in here I feel my 50cc inspiration has been justly recognized :D. Still going to get the GP 76 and an Edge 540 to bolt it to :). Got a buddy flying one in a Mamba. Awesome engine. Right now focused on 35cc's. Had it out in the yard playing with the fuse while I get some time on the engine. Now working installing a bottom "access" to the receiver and tail servos. The DLE 35RA turns the scale 20x8 prop quite nicely. The Cub should have some "spirited" flight performance now. Hope to have it wheels up very soon.

As usual the weather is cold and raining so found a plate of aluminum 9/16 thick. Thought to my self try to make some wheels out of it well day and a half later I have something that I think will work all my fields are grass actually I have never flown off a paved runway. Just have to make some bushings and they will be done. The drill press earned its keep today.
If someone knows how too or what to use to put like 1/8 strip of rubber on the perimeter please let me know. The wheels are 4 inch diameter.

Got the opening on the bottom of the Cub all squared up and forward and rear flanges installed. Now getting the 1/16th ply cover made. Once everything is fitted and in place I am going to paint the entire underside including the stabs. I will also paint the front of the plane that is all yellow. This will completely hide any marks left over where I have filled in large holes previously. Going with an acrylic enamel so the exhaust grime cleans off easily.

Hellllllllooooooo!!!!!

Haven't posted to this thread in a while but I'm about done splitting the ailerons on my 100 buck Cap 232. Just need to epoxy the second inboard panel hinges then it's servos and pushrods.
