.How does that reed mount? Is laid in place and those three screws holds it there? If that is the case then you are done with the reed, I see no reason for any glue, adesive, or even sealant on it, the cover can be installed with any of the high temp RTV's such as I shown, and install the carb.

Been doing a little more research and believe you are missing a couple things. You have the reed and a gasket but are missing the gasket cover plate. And I believe there also should be a metal block that goes on the reed carrier like noted in the following pic. And the pic of the reed carrier is a little better view than on AI's site.
