@AKNick Things should get exciting at home. A buddy of mine had ended up getting a few new printers and no longer using this one so doing an even swap the printer for my old Taranis X9D that he wants. Its the Anet A8 upgraded to the AM8 with Bowden extruder, dual power supplies, and BL Touch installed. Only thing wrong with it is the Thermistor he says will stop working when the gantry is traveling up so I'm thinking a loose or broken wire somewhere that should be easy to fix. Will be fun to have one at home to play with.

Way cool! I had a fluctuating bed temp with my CR-10, turns out it was a bad solder job inside the control box cannon plug receptacle. Took a while to find, but wiggle wiggle, and there it was. That printer is Tricked out. I have a BL Touch that I've been wanting to install on my CR-10S, I don't want to accidentally ruin a printer that's working ok. The hardest part is always leveling the bed before the print and insuring bed adhesion.

Did final prep on the Python 100 fuselage and tail feathers. Should be covering tomorrow.
While moving a few things around the shop to store Christmas decorations, I decided to peek into a 1/4 scale Bob Dively Stearman kit.
This will be quite a bit of work to turn into a flying lumberyard.

Hey @WMcNabb,

I foresee ALLOT of practice with various size hole saws in your future. . . . . . . Seriously though, it is a good way to reduce the amount of lumber/dead weight in that plane. . . . :yesss:.

Busted out some skis I made years ago for a plane that is no longer with me. Got me thinking! My 84” TBM could use them. My original design uses some car shocks (TMAXX) and I just finished printing some holders to mount to the gear legs. I’ll have to fit and secure everything now.

The green zinced price is left over material from a DHC-2 EDO float chime I replaced.

Like the skies. Built a few in my day but the shock absorber idea is great I will have to give that a try, first thing hopefully I have not thrown them all out. If not will see if they can be adapted to the existing skies I have oh well looks like another project if I can find a pair.

Had a little helper (not much help if any) in the shop. More like a supervisor. I think she said it isn’t airworthy yet. So back at it another evening.
