CF gear. Good idea on prop.

Aging Yak cowling needs some more attention. All of this could eliminated but I like hiding the interior.

I have made a start on my next big endeavour. Most of the parts are cut been working on it for a few months. Just did not know if i wanted to build it because of the size, but I have decided to go ahead. Its 40% size plane designed to fit a Kolm150 4 stroke 3 cylinder engine. Making a plane to fit this engine is not easy but time will tell if I got it right.
all the stringers still need to made, and many other things but it is a start.

Go for it. I build larger strictly for using better sounding engines and that Kolm certainly fits the bill.

Don’t think there will be a lot of interest it is not a scale build. The plane is something that I think I will like but not everyone els. The plane is designed around the motor. And as small as possible but still carry the weight of a Kolm that comes in at 15lbs. So you can see very short nose to hopefully get the CG correct and not add weight if at all possible.

Ok this plane has been a challenge to say the least. It is Quicky copy the standard Quicky is 500 square inch wing but this is a redesign of one but at 1000 square inches.
1. It started life with an electric motor but it just did not work out could not get the speed out of it.
2. Then put a OS 65 with all the performance parts but still not good enough, to slow.
3. Now rebuilding again and it now has a JETT 90 on it hopefully this will be successful.
