I asked my uncle @billb618 about power options going to the receiver. He felt it would be better if it had two power inputs since a singe JR plug is only good for about 5 amps. The problem was, the Fromeco switch in the plane only had one set of inputs and one set of outputs. So I soldered on an extra JR output and a extra input with a Deans Ultra plug. The battery I'm using is a Hobbico LiFe pack and it already has 3 leads on it, 2 JR and 1 Deans.

Only thing holding me up now is a 6" extension for the rudder servo which I'll pick up tomorrow. And a new exhaust which should be here next week. The stinger fell of the old exhaust while it was in flight.

Today I work on some things for a friend's new Carf 35% Extra 330SC. I'm painting the gear, some exhaust extentions, and a new Tru-Turn spinner. Putting a piece of sandpaper to a new Tru-Turn is hard to do.;)

The gear needed a fair amount of work to get rid of the pinholes. I've got everything in self-etching primer so far. The spinner and extentions are pretty much ready to paint, but the gear is going to need a little more work.

That must be hard to sand a tru-turn spinner. But if it needs to painted it needs to be done. I would leave it as is until I scratched it.
Well got the wings aligned and drilled, pinned and threaded. Had or make bushings for the threaded studs in the fuss to get the drill cantered properly. Made some titanium studs to hold the wing on. With the threads in the wing in a wooden block did not want to screw the bolt into the wing all the time and wear out the threads. The pins are made from Delrin.
