Man I like Ttue-Turn spinners but every time time I price one out I get sticker shock and try to find some thing else. But I must say days gone buy when flying only glow and always starting with a starter TT was the only way but they were a lot smaller and affordable. Now with gas engines always start it by hand I do not belive that a high quality spinner is that necessary.

Any clue why DA switched from JR type to APP? No one seems to like them.

Couldn't tell you, I personally prefer a standard receiver plug over the APP, but I left it as is since I didn't want to go chopping the connector off the ignition.

Well, I have finally got caught up with my work for a few days. Haven't had time to work on the Viper. I decided that I was just going to work on the Viper all day Saturday! I just had a lot of fun, and got a bunch done. Got the stabs sheeted and in the bag. Than I glued on the leading and trailing edges on the wings. Marked and cut out the rudder, and got the fin glued on the fuselage. Today I've had some time to work on it, cut the hinge stock for the rudder, and been shaping the edges on the wings.

I did the same, but I've got a new DA70 on my bench and I think I'll modify this one.

Every DA I have purchased has been supplied with the power pole plugs. Wvery DA I have purchased has had the PP cut off and a regular servo plug added! Seen too many PP's fail! Problem with the PP's is there is no strain relief on the wire where it exits the housing and the vibrations eventually weaken and break the wire. Maybe a dab of silicone where the wite exits the PP would solve the issue?

Will @ericrs did not take a long time for you to do a lot of work on the plane. It is looking good. Can you tell me how difficult it was to get the front of the bottom form to matchup with f1 looking at it going be quite job.

It wasn't all that bad. Just take your time and measure carefully and it should work out just fine
