Picked up this from a club member today. Pheonix models Strega. Guy impulse bought it a few years back. Said he got it out the other day to start putting it together and realized it's far beyond his flying abilities so he gave it to me. Designed around a 45-55 size two stroke nitro engine. A buddy has a Rossi 60 with a pipe he is sending me to use on it. Should haul the mail pretty good. Got everything for it as well other than a low profile retract servo.

Prepping the trailer for the drive to Nall! Re-packed the wheel bearings and made sure the tires were properly inflated. 50psi for these guys.

@Decal Dennis fixed this beast for me last night. It's been hard to start for the last couple years. Dennis fixed it in about 5 minutes. Just needed a choke adjustment.

After that we moved out to the airplane hangar where he set the end points on the new throttle servo in my Stinson. He's a handy fellow to have around.

You better make sure you put the wing together and attach it to the fuse REAL WELL with that Rossi in the nose. . . . . . If you don't, you may end up with a very fast lawn dart. . . . . .

A piped Rossi .60 will definitely test it's integrity.

All depends though. When the motor shows up I will see how it fits but if I cant get it where the pipe is hidden under the wing then I will not be going that route. It will just get a good ole OS 46fx or 46ax.

Slowly getting back to my new hobby room. I had to fill it with basement crap while we finished rest of the basement. I still have a long ways to go though. Here is a view from the hobby room. I rigged the tv on a sliding rail with a swivel hanger.
