You could try bolting it on an putting a heat gun to it, but that could be a scary proposition.

Try to peel the canopy off the deck. Then all you would have to do is clean up the inside of the canopy, to reglue it. Snap a shot of the profile of the canopy and frame......

Do NOT put heat to your canopy, it will shrink if you do. Ask me how I know!!

That is why I made a hot box. Putting heat gun to canopy will be a disaster. Put in the hotbox just to get the temperature up enough so it will change shape over time that is why I said take time and look at all the time you can actually feel itget ever so slightly soft stop and let it sit for a day and then check if IS has changed shape it takes time and patience. But if you can take of the canopy with breaking it, like @Bunky.F.Knuckle suggested that is the best way.
almost done making new wings for my Dalton Yak.
The Dalton Yak, has under 70 flights, and we noticed, after an IMAC contest, that the covering under the left wing tore. This led me to believe that there was a problem. Sure enough, the wing tube socket began to come loose. This wing was the first sheeted wing I had ever done (since back in late 1970's)!! LOL!! For the past 1 week, I have been working on these wings...
The Yak wings are now ready to have the incidence set. I have glued on the leading edge and trailing edge, sanded them down. and, I then glue on a root cap, balsa 1/8".
Just as a reminder to all, what I did was 1st was to glue on the 1/8" plywood cap, (after the hard points for the wing bolts) then I sheeted the top and bottom of the wing. This top and bottom sheeting captured the plywood root cap. Now, there is a balsa cap over the plywood cap, that will no protect the wing balsa sheeting edge.
Each wing weighs about 2 pounds and 12 ounces. This is with LE, TE, servo boxes in. Still needs to have aileron cut out, and then hinged and with two servos, covering, and control horn, I suspect each wing will weigh about 3 pounds and 12 ounces.
left to do:
1. set the incidence.
2. cut out the ailerons
3. glue on TE and LE of the aileron hinge line, glue in hard points for the control horns..
4. then bevel the hinge line
5. cover
6. install servos
7. Fly

Looking good. Just curious, but did you order new wings or did you cut the foam yourself?
