So there is a screw that holds down the ignition lead and thus keeping the ignition box together. The other side however has a barbed clip that disintegrated which is why mine started to split apart. I wrapped some blender tape around it to keep it together. It shall suffice

I had one of the older style DA ignitions on a Secraft mount that uses the hard plastic Velcro on the base and a Velcro strap wrapped around it. The clear tape that holds the two halves of the box together split and the main part slid out of the mount and fell onto the header. Thankfully it happened hauling it to the field and I heard it rattling around before I flew. I put it back together at the field with masking tape and it stayed like that for years.

I finished the base colors for the wings. I did the bottoms of the ailerons along with the 2 hatches. I installed the servos in the wings as well using stangflyer’s technique for cutting the holes in the covering. That works like a champ to make it all look nice.

Paint is done
M9 gimbals installed
More bling on the way
How long have you had the radio? Obviously you have changed out the gimbals, but interested to hear about how it is holding up to long term use. Very interesting platform being open source! Just don’t hear much about folks that have had them a long time. You really like the radio?

I haven't used it a lot but I like it. Taking getting used to as it a bit bigger than my futaba I use and the programming is insane trying to use it. There are lots of guys that use them all the time though and I know of a handful using them on 120cc stuff. One issue it has is the trim switches are prone to fail. I just replaced the throttle trim on mine. There is a guy though you can send the trim switch boards to and he will replace the switches with quality ones that won't fail.
