Received a new short kit today. From mountain models for the Allegro RES glider. Really nice looking short kit for what it is. Laser cutting appears to be top quality. Just throwing it out there for everyone to go give the mountain models site a look over. The owner is trying to sell the buisness and if he can’t find a buyer he will be closing up shop. Might be worth it to see if there is anything you want before it’s gone.
Mountain Models make awesome kits. Easiest, best fitting kit I ever built was their L4 Grasshopper.

Damn I'm hungry
Well I got my shop deed for the evening almost done.... Going to give it a whirl in the air first and see how it does. Simply took the stock LG retainer cover and used it as a template to bore the mounting holes. I'm chuckling right now as the "Robster" just posted up a HUGE emoji.
Guy really does like em BIG!!!!!

Now what was I typing??? Oh ya.......Later on going to cut out the plastic where marked with my sharpe and install a LG plate as to recess the CF gear for a more professional look. Oh!....And I used 2mmx20mm hex screws in the existing holes to mount the gear.

Can I help it? I'm a guy. What can I say? Just some things are better when they're big. RC planes, rc engines, rc flying fields.... big is good.

Between yesterday and tonight I cut some flats on my new Dubro axles, test fitted everything to make sure the new 4 1/2" wheels would fit the new wheel pants, and then installed it all for real and glued the cuffs on.
The new gear is 2" narrower which will make it much easier to roll through the door from my family room into the garage. Also the taller wheels will hopefully keep the pants from getting as beat.
