Setting the wings, fuselage and stabilizer angles. But getting frustrated at the tools I have. Have one hanger 9 angle gauge, one Mitutoyo level and a lazier. And not one of them agree. The problem is the lazier is very good one but the line it puts out is about 1/8 wibe which is not accurate enough and the the hanger 9 is just a hobby angle gauge. So I am going to redone everything with Mitutoyo but it hard to get a reading from the wing with it. Just going to have come up with a way and get it done.

Sounds like you need a good "incidence" meter. Always enjoyed the Robart meter. Have had it for over 28 years now and just as accurate since it was new.

I think (HOPE) once everything is in it won't stand out as an incorrect trim handle but its close enough for a Sig.

Got the throttle control housings, engine choke control and carb heat escutcheon's "cut, trimmed, formed and sanded" Even got em painted!
All that and they are still not finished :face-palm:.

Been working on the profile for 2 full days and have nothing to show. Just doing small detail working on blind nuts for stabilizer, backing plates for the canopy and mounting hardware and pins for canopy. Just small stuff that takes time. And also sanding and matching stabilizer profile to the fuselage.

Went to replace the 2 canopy pins in my AJ Laser yesterday since they fell out. Was about ready to start wrapping it up when suddenly a gust of wind came up and knocked the airplane off my workbench. A broken propeller, a busted spinner and bent backplate (only 2 weeks old!!), a cracked cowl, and a huge ding in the turtle deck :(

You are pissed off it those kind of accidents that just drive me nuts all done and one second later and you more work and cost thane started with. It’s when you knock your plane off the workbench it is painful.

Know a little something about accidents like that but in my case maybe "accidental" is stretching it a bit. Stupid Starting Tables. Doh!

Sorry to see that Tanner. Good news is you should have it "Popping" again in no time.
