Definitely wasn’t a whole lot of glue on it from the factory. I was surprised the ply wasn’t supported with anything other than glue. Gotta lighten them up somehow I guess!

I think it is turning out decent. I was really worried. My fingerprint and glue smudges normally end up in this kind of work

Got it outside and ran the engine. Tuned up nice and it turns the 18x8 very well. Need to add throttle curve to make it act a bit more linear.
The VVRC/Walbro carb for the DLE 30/35 really helped take the "peaky lean" midrange out with out guzzling down the sauce. From the short time I was able to run the stock carb this new carb seems to be "Just the Ticket".

My DLE 40 Twin that I had on my Stinson never ran right till I put a real Walbro on it. Purred like a kitten afterwards.

Thanks Mike. I just finished programming a 7 point curve while watching the video. Will check it out and make any fine tuning to it once I get it to the runway tomorrow. Was thinking if I had the new iX12 I could watch the vid on it and make the adjustments
