Alright alright let's not get too frilly here, otherwise I won't be able to get in from work

Well do not know what is wrong with me but I have been down to the work shop several times wanting to work on a plane. I walk around look at stuff and just do not have any interest right now to do any thing in the shop. I have a friends plane down in the shop and have to remove the hole font end up to the wind shield to accommodate the new 50cc Gaui engine. But all I do is just look at it.

Some days that's just how it is.

My buddy Carl had a theory that if you left just a few minutes work to do on one project instead of finishing it, then your more likely to get back in the shop the next night and finish that up and start a new project than if you finished it, and the next night was starting something new.

Is It Just ME!?........... or do others admire their work too much that dysfunctionality sets in?

That DJ72 still sitting where I left it 3 days ago .............

It has GOT to get done but I just can't bring myself to it right now. @Snoopy1 your not alone my friend. @stangflyer , @dhal22 you and your red heads DONT help my situation either dang it just more dysfunctionality on my part .... .


And I thought I was a "Level Headed" kind of guy . Obviously NOT .

Instead of a pub crawl or a neighborhood man cave crawl we need to do a hobby room crawl. Someone puts together a kit complete package and we all ascend to the cave and knock the build out. And we work for beer

I am in best idea I have heard in a long time just getting together will kill all of us we live to far from one another but still a great idea, like said I am in.

Been there, done that. I have so much other stuff to work on, that planes take a back seat. The nice thing is I don't have any planes that need much done to them at the moment although I do have one I should be removing covering and seeing what it would take to rebuild it. Might not even do it. I simply don't know yet, but it is on the shelf and will be there if I should get that "moment" of zealousness to dive in.

I guess when it is summer and hot and the sun is shining it does not make sense to go down in a basement to work onto build planes, maintenance is one thing but building aeroplanes just do not have the drive.

Well it is raining this morning so I thought I would get my friends engine up on the test stand and see how well it works. It has a starter on it. So need to figuring out how it all works and getting setup to make it run need to go the LHS to pickup some connectors and some 5mm screws. Hope it will be done soon and give it a go, and tune up the engine and see how well this little engine works, runs and idles, and see if it has some decent horsepower.
