Sometimes you just need to get away from it for a solution to come to you.Spent the day in the shop but it was a tough day. The plane turned out a little tail heavy so working on that. Trying to install the rudder servo up front then found out that the arm required was too wide for the 2 1/4 fuselage. And it also will not work running down the side on the out side so I am in a bit of a bind. After trying to make it work for quite a while I had to walk away from it and try again tomorrow.
That looks pretty good. that engine looks like it is brand new. I thought that you prefered the Saito. The once glow powered then gasserized trainer is now once again Nitro powered. I spent pretty much the entire evening installing the O.S. 70 Max Surpass I bought a few weeks back into the trainer. Dang, she has had a rough life. Three engines and over 100 flights. Normally this would not be a drop in the bucket I think. But considering she has been together and pulled apart and back together only to be torn apart and put back together yet a third time, she is holding up pretty fair.

The batteries are on the charger and Marie is ready to go also. It is supposed to rain here tomorrow. But maybe tomorrow afternoon when the weather breaks in the early afternoon. I need a flying fix. I am having withdrawls. LOL
You are right about that I was getting tired, frustrated and not a good time to continue.Sometimes you just need to get away from it for a solution to come to you.
Thanks.... I think it was bench ran one time. I am pleased it's as fresh as what it is. I do prefer the Saito, but a couple of reasons pushed me to the O.S.! First, I honestly wanted to try something different. The Saitos are great looking motors. But so is the O.S.! They both run awesome but the biggest reason that I chose the O.S. over the thumper hemi Saito is cost of fuel. Saitos likey the 20/20 blend fuel. And they run very well with it. But I just haven't had much luck putting a cheaper fuel in them. Up here, the 20/20 blend is 40 dollars a gallon. And Saitos are not noted for fuel economy. The O.S. on the other hand is a mizer and I can run the lesser expensive fuel through it.That looks pretty good. that engine looks like it is brand new. I thought that you prefered the Saito.
Very good thing to keep in mind.Sometimes you just need to get away from it for a solution to come to you.
