@BalsaDust need some help. Did the glas method of joining Ultracote together it work great and you can not separate the two from one another. But ran into problem hope you have a solution. When the two pieces were joined the sheet of Ultracote was flat and smooth. Went to install on the elevator everything went well but when I went to shrink it down is when the problem showed up everything pulled nice and tight and the seems never moved glued solid but what happened is the seam started to corrugate and I could not fix it as soon as I put some heat to the seam to get rid of the corrugation the started to let go. Has this happened to and if so how did you fix it, thanks.

Pot hole?!?! what happened, must explain yourself!

O’boy What did you do. I hope that is all you did to that poor-cub. We need all the details and do not blame the radio.

Yes do tell.

As it would have it :face-palm:........Out flying again and engine was too lean on the top end. Went dead stick throttling up in to a strong head wind for a climb out (doing touch and go's) and plane came to an abrupt halt like it had brakes! It was only 4 or 5 feet off the ground. I applied down elevator to keep the nose down but the wind stopped all forward momentum and it fell like a rock on to the right tire. Also re- opened the crack in the cowl I repaired :ugh:. Good news is that's all that happened :). Did not break the prop :attaboy: or even scratch it up.
Engine flies this plane very scale like (slow and slower). And it's another chubby cubby at 16.5 pounds. Also it's a clipped wing. Must have some power at all times to fly and it need all 3 flight inputs at most times.

Now this one has plenty of power and can zip or float right along. And it's really purdy.....

No I have not had that happen to me before. Let me think for a bit and see if I can come up with an idea.

Well tried again and the same thing again just do not know how to stop this.
Ran out of covering so this how it is going stay for a while until I can figure this out. Connecting the two together works great and you can not pull it apart but when you shrink it down the seam just wrinkles up and when you put the iron every so small the seam starts to let go. I specifically pulled the seam tight across the elevator to make sure that there was no extra material along the seam. If somebody knows how to beat this your help will be appreciated thanks.

I would use the Iron to tack it down around the edges only and then use a heat gun to tighten along with a soft hand sock to rub it over as the heat gun was shrinking it being carful not to put direct heat on the overlapped pieces.

Been busy working on the "shop" itself. Went to price a new front door and fainted when I saw  what the depot wanted for one like it.

No kidding.....You could do a 35% plane complete with engine and servos and everything else to make it go!

Minwax is my good friend.......
