Damn I'm hungry
Anybody have any experience with these Blue Birds, @49dimes probably? I saw some posts about issues with Futaba gear and Blue Birds, I think it had to do with line voltage or something? Is this still an issue, or should I stay clear?

BMS-2109 $38 266-372 0.05-0.07 Ti/Coreless (Could be a good Glitter Profile Servo) Cant get over how cheap it is. Anybody?

Other ones I've been eyeing:
BLS-29A $70 330-470 0.05-0.07 Ti/Brushless
BLS-2103 $55 237-333 0.03-0.04 Nanometer Alloy???/Brushless (what does that even mean?)
BLS-22A $66 237-333 0.03-0.04 Ti/Brushless
BMS-23A $57 266-372 0.05-0.07 Ti/Coreless (Just a CNC case of the 2109's specs are identical)

You should be good to go using Futaba gear. Their older servos that pre date the H50B's have boards that work fine with Futaba and others. Their newest models that post date the H50B's have boards similar to Hi-Tech and Spektrum. Nanometer Alloy??? Your guess is as good as mine :do_not_know:

Nanometer, must be like unobtanium or something.... ha ha
Okay, good to know with the Futaba Gear and just the dealings with the older H50's
Seem like these servos might be worth a try....

Most definitely. I have had great success with BLS 2209's, BLS 3114's, BMS 1117's, BMS 621DMG+HS, BLS A207's and many others.

The BMS "600" standard servo series are simple 3 pole motor servos with analog style boards with an added D/A converter. Very economical at less than 20 bucks ea. and have BB outputs and torque and speed as high as 190ozin @ .14 transit.

I actually flew a 35cc S-Bach with the 621's and 3Deed the Dirt right in to it :big-grin:.

Python continues to go backward.
Ripped off more covering, sheeting and stringers on the turtle deck last night.
Soon will be time to start moving forward, but a few more issues remain.
