Glad to hear it flies well!!

Wish I could help, but never programmed an Eflite ESC. Have several but all I’ve ever done is plug and play.
Yeah its weird and from the manual it doesn't seem like you can actually match it to the movement of the throttle stick. The manual references that its default to 1.2ms-1.8ms but if seeing a lot of dead band it can be adjusted to 1.1ms-1.9ms

Working on my 48" EF Edge. Was happy to see that my new batteries are an ounce lighter than the old ones. So I have four charged packs and will be headed for a lunch break fly session.

It’s been a while since being on GSN… but January has been a month in the hobby room… I built a 58” Redwing Extra, a 60” EF Extra NG for a buddy (with less than a 24 hour turn around - thanks COVID quarantine…) and have been working a 1/4 BUSA Cub. My buddy and I have maidened the 60” planes and I already bought an AJ 61” Slick to replace the Redwing. The Redwing I got for free for building another plane for a buddy. I thought I would try it at least😂

Very nice brother. You’ve been busy. So what’s up with the Redwing plane? Don’t like the way it flys?

The canopy is very finicky with how it latches. They tried to copy PAU’s quick release but didn’t do a very good job of it. It is very squirmy compared to other 60” planes but does okay with an aura on it.

My original plan with it was to fly it ridiculously hard until I demolished it and then replace it. But with the gyro, it would be a good plane for someone else.

I built this Redwing and the EF Extra NG back to back. The EF was a joy to build vs. the Redwing. I had to go through everything in the Redwing to make the fit work.

First lunch then onto building which looks a littler different. Sold our house so I dont have a shop for a while. Threw the portable bench in my truck and will now spend my lunch breaks building this twisted hobbies Revolto and the 35" Crack Fokker after it. should be fun.
