Well not sure what has happened but this morning I can now access the site on my PC. I really hate using the phone for this, my fingers are three letters wide. Great to be back.
I have been working at my daughters house doing a little patching and painting, yesterday I removed wallpaper in a powder room, Hope to finish today. In between I did manage to get the cowl, pants and cuffs painted white. I hope to knock off early today and get the orange and yellow strips on.

"Cherokee 40 kit. I'm quite impressed looking at it I think it might be a first run of it as all the die crunch parts actually look really nice and most fall cleanly out of the sheets. Also the balsa selection is really nice, like good stuff I would use when building a 3D model when keeping weight down.

The only Top Flite kit I built was a Trainer 40 way back, pretty sure it was my second real RC airplane build. From what I remember it was a very nice kit. The wings were built on a supplied 1/4" music wire jig. Powered with an OS 40 FP bushed engine, man did that engine make a lot of crank slapping noise!

I used to have a 40fp that was piped on a small 3D profile. Fun little engine. I'm done with nitro though. To pricey and finiky when tuning. Then with the acquisition of these two planes the guy also handed me these two little cox engines, Been a long time since I have seen a .049 and the .010 is the first one I have ever seen in person. Thinking I will clean them up and make a mount to hang them on the wall as a display.

Another couple of hours doing ceiling work. Not a lot to post a photo of but we need content here on this website.

Doesn't hurt to limit myself to a couple of hours as I'm stuffing insulation on top as I go. Any more and I'll pay the price for a week.
