Yes we checked for spark and we did have spark on all three cylinders. The engine from day one was a pain to start and tune but it kind off worked. The owner decided to buy a Walboro carb conversion for the engine. Well we are still trying to get it to work. And the engine is on test stand.

I've been putting together a foamy with my new radio master pocket radio on ELRS, neat radio... definitely not what I'm used to (Futaba). CH5 on ELRS was designed for a drone arming switch, so for the life of me I did not understand why I couldn't make CH5 my aileron 2 channel.... and why it would act like it was going full throws even when setup in the radio correctly. I had to reprogram the receiver through Wi-Fi. I never would have thought that little receiver could transmit Wi-Fi... amazing. Been raining buckets here, but it's all ready for a maiden flight.
Interesting. Will have to remember this though when I do finally order a pocket for my little girl it will most likely be the 4in1 version as I have a ton of older ACSST receivers.

We've been getting more done on the little girls glider. Just need to cover the top of the wing then we can get the rest of the electronics installed. She is excited to see it all come together.

You can always buy an external ELRS module if you want later down the road. I got the CNC gimbals for it, I don't think they are worth the hype and the plastic ones felt less clunky to me. Otherwise the fit and feel of this radio is quite nice and ergonomic!
