I was lucky enough to spend a few hours with Terry yesterday and all I can say WOW
WOW what an airplane!
WOW what a great guy!
I learned more about airplanes yesterday than I have in the few years I've been involved in this hobby.
Terry and the LAW are the nicest people you could ever meet, they are true ambassadors for our hobby.
2016 will be a better year in our hobby because of these two!

In closing I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU TERRY for all you do and are doing.

We (The FBI) were lucky enough to meet Terry and Lori several years ago when we were flying 40% airplanes and Terry was flying smaller stuff, you could see then the look in his eyes, all the questions he would ask that the wheels were turning, well a few years later and now we are the ones asking all the questions and Terry is the one with the answers. Terry and THE Law are great people for sure and we are proud to have them in The FBI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing too exciting on day one of my build(s). Pretty much cleaned the shop up a bit and started ironing. LOTS of ironing.

Since pretty much all the stripes are covering over covering it is important to iron over all of these. If there are bubbles, poke them with a brand new xacto blade and iron over them.

One quick tip is to drill a 1/16" hole on the root side of all the surfaces and on the bottom of the rudder. This allows the plane to breathe and keeps the surfaces from ballooning up in the sun, or when you iron over them.

During ironing you will likely get some colors smeared from heating the edges. To clean this up use Denatured alcohol. Acetone works faster but Alcohol will not harm anything and does a great job.

Take your time ironing and you will be rewarded with a great smooth finish.

One mod that we made was to trim off the leg of the "R" on the left wing. This is not symmetrical with the right wing and I prefer it without the leg. Greg and I also decided that the white stripes that wrap up around the top of the wings looked out of place so I removed his. It's not so bad on the yellow scheme so I left mine alone for now.

So is the airframe an Edge,Extra,a mix or totally new?
My understanding is the Viper is based off the MXS with a Edge rear stab. I also believe it is within 10% of a MXS scale wise for IMAC. I'm sure others more in the know will be along to verify or deny soon.
