Sport VTOL Aircraft Project

Since I work with a company that specializes in Hybrid Quadcopters I decided to try to build my own VTOL aircraft. My company has been VERY successful with this technology. First I am going to try on my current UAV plane. It would be cool to see this on an aerobatic 35 or 50cc plane!
This will probably be a slow build, but it will get there.

At work we are building a 168" flying wing that will be VTOL... Using KDE direct motors... The airplane is called Apex if you google it... We will be eliminating the pusher motor and rotating the front two motors...

How much flight time are y'all planning on getting. We are getting 6 hours on our mid model and we are capable of getting 24 hours on our bigger model.

We are looking actually in the same range... We are for the flight test looking at a bench mark of 8 hours...

I remember @Terryscustom talking about a kite supplier that has a large variety of carbon tubes and material.

I believe what I have now is 15mm tube. So far it looks like the motor mounts require 16mm. I need to put the plane fully together to see what the length needs to be. The current length tube that comes with the plane is about 32" So I am wondering if I need around 38-42 inch long tube to accomplish what I want to accomplish.
