VTOL Aircraft World Record! DA-60 Ran Over 22 Hours Straight!

Latitude Engineering, the company I work for now holds the world record for longest VTOL Aircraft flight. We flew over 22 hours and had fuel left over when we landed. The aircraft is equipped with a DA60 EFI engine.

Kevin doing some talking here.. L-3 is the reason latitude pulled there's.. We are doing our own press release. FYI it was 36lbs of gasoline on board and after 22 hours there was 5lbs left... So a DA 60 with custom efi running lean of peak and at minimum power flew 22 hours on 5 gallons of gas

That is an awful lot of flying on that little fuel!
