As far as weight goes, in the photo below last March, weighted 18 pounds, without engine, 8 servos, receivers, wiring, batteries and paint. My goal was 30 pounds which yields a 8.9 WCL, thinking that 32 to 33 pounds is more in line which is 9.5 to 9.8 range. 34 pounds is a WQL of 10. These WQL's are well within sport scale range. The wing is 14 % thick at the root so that may provide some additional lift.
Engine with starter, ignition and exhaust - 6 pounds
Servos - 1 pound 3 oz.
Radio equipment - 4 oz
Seats, floor panel, and F2 baffle- 16 oz
Wire - ??? there's a lot of wire in the plane, distributed use of the recievers to save weight where possible, i.e. the lights are controlled locally by the receivers mounted in the wing tips and vertical fin, also used 28 gauge wire for SBUS and Sport signals
Paint - ???
Batteries - 12 oz
27 pounds identified above, paint is unknow at this point but I think I'll be happy at 32 pounds. I vacuum bagged every part that I could, that saved at least 2 pounds
