I had a pair that I used to wear in the winter time that came from a friend that worked at GM. They were thin leather, sized, 10 1/2, and I have looked everywhere for replacements, no such luck. Many years (decades) of plumbing construction and you find a glove that works. Just the right protection and feel. Cow leather is too tough/ thick.
I used my new starting gloves at the field today, they're awesome. Just thick enough, but you can still feel. After starting my 120 three times, and Tony's 120 three times the don't have a mark on them. looking forward to see how they hold up in the long term.
