You are correct I have owned a few tail wheels in my life but J & J are best I have used, you will be pleased with it.

Just a few arrivals from the Postman lately. A little "STANG" glue and a replacement hobby saw. I have just about wore the previous one out after the last two years. So 8 or so bucks later and I got a new one to beat up on. LOL.

Some steel tubing from Aircraft Spruce for my cub build. Added some steel plates and carbon fiber cloth to the order. It looks like years of cf cloth.

No steel in our planes only balsa, aluminum and carbon.

Today was a very special delivery. I had the honor and privilege of meeting one of our GSN brethren @acerc. You can imagine what happens when two wingnuts get together and talk airplanes!

The item being delivered? That would be a 1/4 scale Bob Dively Stearman kit with all the goodies. The plan, as of now, is a scale build of my good friend's 450 hp “Checkmate”.

Apparently the build starts when the first drop of glue leaves the bottle. It might be a while, but I promise to do a thread, here on GSN - naturally.

OMG...what a treat. Nabby and Aceie...together. What a treat that would have been. I would have loved to been there too. You guys are tops. And speaking of tops...damn fine plane you got there. I miss my 1/3 Scale. I should have never let it go. Next time? Ah heck, the woman can go...PLANES ARE STAYIN'!! Can't wait to watch your build thread.
