Ok, I am sorry to do this, but I have to vent somewhere.
Why is it, that RC airplane people are the only ones who seem to do this?
Every other stupid ass expensive hobby I have gotten drawn into has forums, and they all have a classified section.
We all know that before paypal, we had to mail a cashiers check, or a money order, that was the standard.
Paypal is a service that allows instant transfer of money from me to you, or you to me. You can use a bank account, or a credit card and really rack up on crap you don't need. Any company that provides a service gets paid for said service, right?
If I set a price for an item, and want to sell that item, I account for what I want out of the item, the price to ship it, unless it is unreasonably large, like an airframe, or a jeep bumper, of a set of tires, or whatever, and that is my asking price.
How hard is it for these bastards to just factor in the paypal fee of 3 stinking percent, rather then post up "Add paypal fees"?
Seeing that "add 3 percent" to their listing just really makes me want to Hulk out and smash something innocent.
I know it is not a big deal, and I should just be like whatever, but I haven't seen the likes of it on hardly any other forums. When money orders, or cashiers checks were sent people didn't charge a surcharge to drive to the damn bank for deposit. Just suck it up you cheap dicks.
