Scale 35% Krill Extra 330SC....CUSTOM-ARF!!!

Pistolera

HEY!..GET OUTTA MY TREE!
Not much to report (at least not worth pics). Lots of wet sanding, fill, sand some more, repeat. With each piece of sandpaper I'm getting closer to painting.

Getting an exhaust fan and filtration system set up in my shop. Paint "booth" construction materials on hand. Hope to be doing some primer work next week. Got a couple of buddy's cowlings and canopies to do first, so I'll get things fine tuned and get some practice on their stuff before I start on the Krill :D.

I want to say I can see the light at the end of the tunnel....but don't wanna jinx myself :ugh!:. When I got back into the sanding stuff I remembered why I shelved this project a few years ago! Well that and buying property, building a house, moving, etc....

Thanks guys! Still working on some details before I jump into paint (seems I've said that before!)

Anywho.....fine tuning my "braking system"....almost wish they actually worked!

That might not be as hard as you think Earle. Back when I was into the 1/5th scale FG cars I had a 50cc stadium truck I had put full hydraulic actuated disk brakes on. With a plane that size I see it being very feasible.

Can you add something to the picture to show the scale and or size , thanks.

The picture is about 20% smaller than actual size. The disc diameter on the ones I had was 54mm or about 2-1/4". The hydraulic lines are 1/8" OD poly tubing. Integy makes some really nice ones too and they come in assorted colors....They also appear to have hose couplings on their hydraulic lines...pretty . Don't know the actual size of the Integy. The add said for 1/5 scale Baja 5B. And looking at the calipers it looks as if you can install the hydraulic lines perpendicular or parallel to the caliper and use either port for bleed.
