I need to get into those conditions. My IMAC plane is setup VERY simple. Three position switch. First rate is snaps and sequence flying. Second switch is my roller switch which gives it less aileron more elevator and rudder for the rollers. And third switch is full rate everything which I like for hammer heads/tail slides and for take off and landing. This has always worked for me, but at times I would like my settings to be a bit different for downline snaps and upline snaps.

I helped my retired uncle buy his 1st 2.4 radio, a used 8FG. It came with no owner's manual, where would be find one. I have a 14sg and can probably figure it out but he lives several states away.

Here's a useful tip on picking up ANY transmitter.

Do not pick it up by the neckstrap that is attached to the eyelet on the Tx. Don't be that 1 guy who did that, and had to pay almost $1400 to have the screen replaced on his 18MZ. Just so you know, it was not me, as I'm a JR guy. Even still, I will not pick up any radio by the neckstrap that is attached to it.

@Mikeq got me there! My 14SG now displays the receiver voltage. I said it was something simple. lol

From the link menu select system. From the system screen select/highlight "link". Tx will tone for about 4 seconds in which you then simply turn on the receiver and Yay! It works! Receiver ID stored and voltage is now displayed on the monitor along with link strength.

Just wanted to pass along my thanks. Ran into this same issue, with the R7008SB receivers, on two of my receivers, and was stumped to figure out why. Following will be some pictures, I hope. This little trick fixed it on my T14SG Transmitter also. Some the the pictures are not real clear, but enough to get the point across.

Again, thanks, this had me stumped for quite-a-while.

14SG users......I want to move the spring loaded toggle switch to the left side. Has anyone done this ? and if so has any programming issues occurred ? I want my right side to have a 3 position toggle on top. That's where I like my "rates" at.

Need some help. @ChickenBalls won the 10J giveaway here and gave it to his son, Well we know how the young ones are and that is his radio and no one else is going to use it but him, My question is can I set his trainer up with my 8FG Super and use it as the main radio and use his 10J as a buddy box?
