14SG users......I want to move the spring loaded toggle switch to the left side. Has anyone done this ? and if so has any programming issues occurred ? I want my right side to have a 3 position toggle on top. That's where I like my "rates" at.

I haven't opened my 14 sg.

Just to answer my own question if it were to come up again yes the 8FG Super will buddy box with all the current systems.

I will go ahead and open mine up and swap the switches and see if the programming recognizes the location change. I will post back how it goes. I think I will save my current models to the SD card before hand just in case.

The radio is not going to "recognize" the change. On the 18MZ you have to go into a menu to tell the radio that the switch type has changed. I strongly suggest that you not mess with the switches.

What switches are you wanting to swap around??

Been away for a bit. I have not yet changed the switches. I wanted to swap SW A and SW H. Think I will just leave it as it is then.

Fighting and fight to get elevator halves to move evenly. Pulled some older Hitecs and installed MKS 777's. Better, center is reliable as well as end points on high rates match but low and medium rates the halves are not lining up. Another issue is one side appears to drag behind some on the way to full deflection.

Thoughts are appreciated.

I have had the same issues and it is part servo part radio. What I do is try to keep all model set ups similar ( mechanical and radio ). I know there is only so much you can do but if you set your dual rate expo and use Aux 2 for elevator 2 then do that as well for your next split elevator model and so on. I also try to minimize the amount of sub trim needed to get the servos centered with each other. This alone is the chief cause of what you describe. Adjusting the travel limit to compensate for excessive sub trim can help some but not always to the point where your satisfied because like most we want to use all the travel the servo will permit.

Are you using the Ailevator function? I found it easier to match mine using this set up. I've not had much luck getting them to be even slaving one to the other.
