DLE-55 spitting too much gas back .

The low needle is a bit too lean. Richen it in small increments until it comes back to normal idle speed when you chop the throttle.

If you get a drone for Christmas!

Undoubtedly, some will need to be beaten, and their "drones" taken away. I agree with Dooinit, ignorant people and idiots will cause continually increasing regulation and restriction until it's all outlawed. It is far from over.

motor box top plate - ok to use screws or is epoxy a must

motor box top plate - ok to use screws or is epoxy a must

If the top of the box is lock tabbed, I put tri stock around the perimeter, harden the tri stock and the motor box lid with CA, then use four screws per edge. If the lid isn't lock tabbed, I epoxy and pin it to the tri stock around the perimeter and cut the access hole pictured above.

Your Opinion-This is not a "Which radio is best" thread!!!

Seriously, I love the Airtronics S10G. Don't know if others have improved theirs but at the time I got mine it had the least latency in the industry. It was so different and fast to react to input I had to make big adjustments in my timing. And for a 50" plane going 200+ MPH around pylons it was...

    I don't always use a Tx, but when I do, it's an Airtronics SD-10GS.

Engine Gurus Unite -> I need HELP!

Personally, I don't try to get them to hold water. just flat with good even contact all the way around the reeds. The 55 reed cage is bigger than the 30 so if you fill it up there's more pressure pushing on the reeds. The reeds are about the same thickness and stiffness so the extra water...
