Our field faces East so in the morning you're looking into the sun, the flying doesn't even get good until after 1-2pm. In the summer though, from 5pm till about 8:30 is the best all year.- camss69

Made it out Saturday, it was about 70 degrees. Quite a few guys when I got there but everybody ended up leaving early for one reason or another. By 3:30 I was there by myself and ended up packing up and locking the gate. It was a shame because the weather was perfect partly cloudy, maybe a 4...- camss69

So we went out and flew my buddies mustang today, beautiful plane! Buuuuuut... Problems with the inner gear doors. They are servo operated but use the eflite sequencer, and they basically didn't work. If the plane had any airspeed at all the doors wouldn't close. (This is a known problem). So...- camss69

So... I couldn't, not work on the cockpit tonight, got the seat, headrest and stick installed. I was so exited to get it all together I forgot about making some sort of seatbelt! I have a plan for that though, similar to what Tom did with his. The pilot sure makes a difference, had to give up...- camss69

Nice! I was seriously considering the Saito 84 but the additional cost of the Ray English mods turned me off. That engine with the Keleo ring sounds AWESOME! I almost went that route.. I'm really hoping the Evolution 7-77 will be enough power to fly it well. Thanks for the video of the...- camss69

Installed the Xport Duo (XD) and battery extensions permantly tonight. I don't usually, but since the top (bottom) of the XD is pretty much impossible to get to I put some silicon adhesive (shoe goo) on the receiver, switch, and xbus-out connections. Jeti has had me looking lately... I've flown JR for the last 15+ years and I made the jump with them to DMSS. I'm just having an issue with the extremely limited programming in every transmitter but the 28x. (Which I'm not buying) I need to sit down with the Jeti manual and see what it can do.- camss69
