Stupidest thing you have ever done RC related.
Scrapped a foamie because it was worn out... I had a second one just like the first new in the box. Spent a lot of extra time making the wires look all nice and neat... Took it out to the park I fly at, got distracted by one of my kids, turned around to launch the plane only to launch it...- camss69

Life gets in the way
I'm the same way, I have 3 girls and time with them comes first... All three play soccer and basketball. I put flying all the way at the bottom of the list. The guys at the field know it's that way with me, they still invite me but they know family comes first. They often tell me I'm doing it...- camss69

Here's a flap servo setup I think I like better.. Maybe I'll go two 1268's and the turnbuckle setup like this.. There's also a little bit of resistance at full flap deployment.. I think individual servos will handle it better..- camss69

Weekend mission accomplished... I even finished a bit early and was going to move on to mounting the flap servo before I realized I didn't have the metal servo arm I thought I had... I'm also still on the fence about running a single servo for flaps or two.. The stock setup uses a "Y" pushrod...- camss69

Making decent progress so far.. Taking a break because it's hot in the garage now.. Left aileron is installed and linkage hooked up. The glue is drying on one side of the hinges for the outboard flap. I trial fit the flaps and they are pretty close shouldn't need any more adjusting than the...- camss69

So the weather is supposed to be decent this weekend... High of 90 both Saturday and Sunday.. My goal is to get the left aileron and flaps done by the end of the weekend.. The left aileron has the hinge holes drilled crooked so I'll need to fix 2 out of three... The interesting thing is they...- camss69
