    Happy Independence Day!

We hung out at a really cool block party a friend of ours threw. Coincidentally a guy that moved in down the street from me about a month ago was at the same party so I met him there lol. All the beer and whatever else you wanted to drink, TONS of food, and as many fireworks as three guys...

    Byron's Origional Airshow Memories!

Were all the planes in the show owned by Byron or did they belong to the pilots? I'm guessing the big B29 was owned by Byrons but what about all the smaller fighters and other planes? The C47 dropping all the parachute guys was really cool in the video. Then it looked like 2 zeros crashed...

    Pull pull or Push Pull

If push pull is an option I try to go that way. Zero maintenance, easy setup, positive control... Just way less hassle.

    Favorite Pet

1 year old today! She's definitely considered a family member. My wife had several different dogs as a kid growing up but never a lab. This is my kids first dog and my second lab. My wife has told me many times she never thought she'd love a dog as much as she does this one. She still has a...

    Byron's Origional Airshow Memories!

It was before my time, but I've heard about it and watched the videos and it looks so cool. It's hard enough to coordinate 4 - 57" warbirds in a pylon race I can't imagine trying to coordinate all those planes and boats, sound effects and the pyro..etc.. Would have been a blast to have been a...

I guess he didn't like it, WOAH....

I get it, it's his, he's sponsored by himself, it's his money he can do what he wants, it's funny... Etc etc... I get all that. I just think it sets a bad example... I don't want my kids seeing someone loose his cool and throw a fit smashing up an airplane. He wasn't laughing when he did it...

Best vehicle to transport Giant Scale

I think it was about 106" from the dash to the tailgate.. My Ef 104 Extra is about 102". I had a few inches to spare. I found an ad for a dealer downtown that had a really good price on them and then had my local dealer match it. I did a little better than the Costco pricing.

Best vehicle to transport Giant Scale

One more thing... In my area I looked at used ones first. The used ones were mostly 2014 rentals.. They wanted more for those with 25-30k miles than I paid for my new 2015.. I paid $1500 less than the average asking price of the used ones. You might also look at Costco pricing if you're a...

Best vehicle to transport Giant Scale

I just bought a 2015 4Runner... According to my tape measure my 35% will fit with a few inches to spare with the stabs removed and the rudder a couple inches from the dash. I have not actually loaded it in there yet however but I don't know why it wouldn't fit. Getting more than one 35% in it...

Favorite Aerobatic RC Airframe (Style not Brand) - POLL

The two best flying planes I've had were a 260 and a 300... Third was a Yak.. So 260/300 got my vote.

Giant Scale RC Why do this? Seriously??

"They fly better!" they said, "They're more fun!" they said... "Everybody's doin it!" They said... They were right! Seriously though.. A large number of people at my field fly GS so it's kinda the norm. I did get kind of burnt out a couple years ago when it seemed like all we did was fly GS...

    Robart Electric Retracts

I looked at their site and wasn't sure what I needed to do the conversion. I may do it later I already bought all the stuff to do the air setup so I think I'm just going to go air..

    Robart Electric Retracts

If you end up dissatisfied with your Robart gear, (or even for your next plane) you might check out Sierra. The customer service is slow but I just got mine that I ordered 2 months ago and wow they are pretty impressive. I wonder how they compare weight wise to the Robart equivalent.. These...
