Spinner Thoughts
Yep instead of using loctite the nylon washer compresses slightly. It works GREAT! If you use loctite on the little allen heads they strip, with the nylon washers they don't strip.- camss69

I also have a Falcon spinner and really like it. First non-center bolt spinner I've had. I don't like the center bolt spinners because I've had the backplate crack from tightening them down too much. Then I don't tighten them down enough and the cone spins and makes a mark on the prop.. The...- camss69

Extreme Flight 104 Extra 300
I run 92 octane in mine because I live in CA and somebody told me it doesn't contain ethanol like 89 and 87 do. That could be totally false but that's why I run 92. My DA120 seems to love it so I'll keep running it even if it does have ethanol. Oh and ________ 40:1 :omg:- camss69

SOLD! JR DS8711HV
I had this on the rudder on my 104" Extra. Sent it into Horizon for a checkup and they replaced the gears and it passed all the other tests.. Good as new! I have not used it since it came back a couple weeks ago. Comes with original box, unused servo mount screws and arms. I'm also...- camss69

Same here, I mostly just fly giant scale 3d stuff. To say it's a poor man's Corsair isn't exactly right though.. I made the mistake of adding everything up also.. So then I just pretended I did the math wrong and bought it anyway lol! I figure I'll just buy what I can when I can for it and...- camss69

Ha! It's not a P-47, and when I got the tailwheel I was pretty shocked how big it was for this size plane.... There's enough info in the pic to figure out what it is... Any more guesses? Oh and yes I should have said, happiness is when the big box truck shows up and the boxes aren't smashed!- camss69

Robart Electric Retracts
I tried to order my Sierra gear about 3 weeks ago and still no sign of them... I really wanted the Robart electrics, they powder coated them white and they look really awesome! Plus the plane was built with them in mind... Drop right in convenience.. But then more and more stories of failure...- camss69
